Folk Clothing began it's life in 2001, the brainchild by Cathal McAteer. His aim was to create clothing that his mates would wear; simplistic everyday garments with playful yet subtle and sometimes innovative detailing. Folk have teamed up with Yorkshire born artist Alfie Kungu to produce a summer capsule collection which includes 2 designs of the soft collar shits, matching shorts and bucket hat. His works are nostalgic, they resemble the inner workings of a 90's cartoon brain on a Gameboy colour mission.
Key pieces from the Folk Spring/Summer 2019 collection are theOutline Gilet, Rivet Funnel Neck sweatshirt plus the ever present Folk Assembly chino trousers in 4 colour ways and the Horizon workwear inspired jacket.
