Finisterre
Born From the Sea, Built for the Storm — Finisterre Outerwear
Inspired by the needs of hardy British surfers, Finisterre creates enduring, sustainable outdoor clothing designed for life at the edge — in and around the sea. From wind-lashed coastlines to stormy trails, every piece is crafted with purpose, from our workshop atop the cliffs of St. Agnes, Cornwall.
Founded in 2003 above a surf shop with a single mission — to build a fleece warm enough to fight off Atlantic chills — we’ve grown into a trusted name for functional, ethical, and stylish outerwear. Today, icons like the Barents Jumper, Firecrest Jacket, Finisterre Gilet, and Stormbird Waterproof Jacket embody our commitment to quality, sustainability, and timeless design.
Named after one of the most rugged headlands facing the full force of the North Atlantic, Finisterre — meaning “end of the earth” — reflects our deep-rooted relationship with the ocean. This connection informs everything we do, from material choices to long-lasting construction.
