Folk Clothing began it's life in 2001, the brainchild by Cathal McAteer. His aim was to create clothing that his mates would wear; simplistic everyday garments with playful yet subtle and sometimes innovative detailing.

The newly launched Fall/Winter 2018 collection is minimalist on first appearance, but it is littered with subtle complexities such as garments constructed from contrasting texture panels - the use of different wades of corduroy panels in a horizontal and vertical placements on the Folk Fraction shirt is our favourite.

Key pieces in the collection include the Folk Signal jacket in cord and matching Signal cord pants which can be worn as a casual suit alternative, the Cryptic heavy weight yarn knitwear sweat and matching accessories with the cord Cap, the Sulphur Yellow iteration is superb and looks great with the matching Folk Rivet sweatshirt.
